AFRICAN CHRISTIANITY AND THE LOVE FOR UNNECESSARY DRAMA!

Welcome to #KingdomManna on Inspire Africa Project! A servant of God was invited to pray for a man who suddenly ran mad. The servant of God walked into the place they chained the man and silently said, “In the Name of Jesus, I command the spirit of insanity in you to leave now! Amen.”

The payer did not last up to three minutes. When he came out, the family members were disappointed. They expected to hear the servant of God binding, loosing and shouting. Before he left, he told them that Jesus has set him free, and they were like, just go, we will invite a real man of God. But something strange happened. By the time the lady that went to see the servant of God off returned, the mad man was completely healed and restored, and was demanding for food!

It’s not the screaming and shouting, it is the Name of Jesus that gives the devil a bloody nose. Unfortunately, an average Christian in Africa finds it difficult to understand and embrace the simplicity of the gospel. The Pursuit of Excellence By Ifeanyi AC Eze

So if someone go for prayer somewhere, and the “powerful” man of God did not shout, scream, see vision of enemies, call fire, give you anointing water, oil, mustard seed, incense, coloured candles, black stone and crude oil, that individual will not believe that God has answered his or her prayer!

Maybe it’s because of our idiolatrous background where a native doctor must give you something to go home with. Because of this madness, every Tom, Tony and Tonia is now a powerful man of God who comes to the social media to prophecy and ask people to type amen and claim it. To get your attention, the prophecy must be connected to death, enemies and demons because they know that you’re afraid of these things.

There is no powerful individual anywhere, there is only one powerful God who uses men to work! I was introduced as a powerful man of God somewhere and when I got to the platform, I quickly told them that am not powerful, God is the Almighty, All-powerful and the Agidigbacious One!15 Laws of Money

Christianity is not complicated, it is very simple, we are the ones who are making it look complicated. Whatever the Name of Jesus cannot do, let it remain undone! There is no prayer, oil, water, incense and whatever you use that can compete with the Name of Jesus.

Dear minister, stop showing people that you’re powerful by introducing unnecessary drama into the Kingdom. Your assignment is to pray in the Name of Jesus and allow God to answer. You cannot pray and answer at the same time, that’s why some ministers are patronizing native doctors and occult grandmasters to work for God! That is the height of stupidity. You’re are acquiring power from the devil to work miracles in the name of Jesus!

Jesus showed us what our assignment should be; “And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen. Mark 16:17-20.

Jesus said that we will do all these things IN HIS NAME, not by drama! Our assignment is to preach, command demons to come out, and lay hands on the sick, and His assignment is to confirm them. As the disciples went out daily to preach the gospel, Jesus confirmed what they preached with signs and wonders.

The major reason why we are adding drama to Christianity is because we want to prove to people what we are powerful, and that’s why many people are not getting results. The moment you show people that you’re powerful, God will quietly leave you to do it by yourself.

A young lady told me that she went for prayer somewhere and the powerful man of God wrote a list of things she should buy for the prayer to work, and the man sells everything in the list! The very day you reduce God to candles, oil, incense, anointing water, mustard seed, black stones and the like, is the day you have moulded your own golden calf for people to worship!

Look at the solution to every challenge in life; “Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2: 9-11.

The name of Jesus is the major weapon God gave every Christian! Any other thing is an addition. It is not just calling the Name, but saying it with revelation! By the grace of God, if I conduct deliverance, it doesn’t last more than five minutes, and the person must not fall down. Why? It’s not by falling down, but by having deep revelation in the Name of Jesus, and knowing that if you call it, every demon that is harassing that person must get out, not because of you or the way you say it, but because of His Name!

Saint Paul had an indept knowledge of the power in the Name of Jesus, that was why he said, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13. You can equally do ALL things through the name of Jesus if you are ready to jettison religion and drama. The ball is now in your court.
