Welcome to #KingdomManna on #InspireAfricaProject! What God is contending with on earth today is not the powerfulness of the devil, but the scarcity of prepared men and women! One of my greatest discoveries about God is that He will not do anything on earth until He finds a willing vessel.
The earth is facing all manner of troubles today because many Christians are not ready to donate themselves to God for the purpose of filling the earth with the knowledge of Jesus Christ and His Kingdom, and send the devil back to hell. The devil is having a field day because prepared men and women are scarce.
The Bible shows clearly that God is always looking for prepared people anytime He wants to demonstrate His Almightiness on earth. When God heard the cry of the Israelites in Egypt, look at what He did;
“And the Lord said: “I have surely seen the oppression of My people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows. So I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up from that land to a good and large land, to a land flowing with milk and honey, to the place of the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Amorites and the Perizzites and the Hivites and the Jebusites.” Exodus 3:7-8.
When God said that He has come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, you might think He was going to do it by Himself. Yes He actually came down to set them free, but He needed a human vessel. Since someone must visit Pharaoh and place a demand for the release of the Jews, God needed a vessel whom He would use.
By now, He has watched the uncommon transformation that took place in the life of Moses. The Moses that was in the palace of Pharaoh many years ago was different from the Moses God met at the burning bush. So when God needed a vessel whom He would use, He saw a prepared vessel called Moses and said to him; “Come now, therefore, and I will send you to Pharaoh that you may bring My people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt.” Exodus 3: 10.
He was indirectly saying, “Moses I have heard the cry of my people and I want to set them free from bondage, and to achieve that, I want to use your body!” So Moses donated himself to God. God will never do anything on earth until He finds a prepared vessel.
King Ahab knew that he was weak but went to marry the daughter of an agent of the devil called Ethbaal. Jezebels’ father was a manufacturer of gods. That means, Ahab became an in-law to a devil. When Jezebel was coming to the palace, she brought many gods. She brought baal for Ahab, and asherah for herself.
She manipulated the king and used royal authority to force the people to worship idols. Thousands of prophets left town, while eight hundred and fifty sold out because Jezebel paid them handsomely. At this time it seems as if the devil was winning until God searched for a prepared vessel, and found a man called Elijah and used him to bring His people back from apostasy. God will always look for a prepared vessel anytime He wants to intervene on earth!
When Jesus wanted to convert the Gentile nations I believe He wanted to use Peter. But Peter was not ready to go because he considered them unclean. Look at how the Lord revealed that assignment to peter;
“Then he became very hungry and wanted to eat; but while they made ready, he fell into a trance and saw heaven opened and an object like a great sheet bound at the four corners, descending to him and let down to the earth. In it were all kinds of four-footed animals of the earth, wild beasts, creeping things, and birds of the air. And a voice came to him, “Rise, Peter; kill and eat.” But Peter said, “Not so, Lord! For I have never eaten anything common or unclean.”And a voice spoke to him again the second time, “What God has cleansed you must not call common.” This was done three times. And the object was taken up into heaven again.Now while Peter wondered within himself what this vision which he had seen meant, behold, the men who had been sent from Cornelius had made inquiry for Simon’s house, and stood before the gate.” Acts 10:10-17.
To show Peter that He wanted him to witness to the Gentiles, the moment he got up from that trance, the men whom Cornelius sent to invite him were waiting at the gate. But after leading Cornelius and his family to Christ, he went back to Jerusalem.
Jesus now went to look for a man who will donate himself for the Gentile assignment, and found a passionate young man called Saul. Jesus saw his zeal and discovered that if that zeal can be channeled properly, the devil will have a heart attack. On his way to arrest and persecute believers, Jesus arrested Saul, and said to him;
“…I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. But rise and stand on your feet; for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to make you a minister and a witness both of the things which you have seen and of the things which I will yet reveal to you. I will deliver you from the Jewish people, as well as from the Gentiles, to whom I now[a] send you, to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.” Acts 26:15-18. Jesus needed a vessel to convert the Gentile nations, and Saul who later became Paul donated himself for that purpose.
I know you have been donating money to God all these years, but God is saying that He wants you to donate yourself. He has an urgent assignment on earth. He wants to give the devil the kind of bloody nose he will never forget by depopulating hell and populate heaven, and you are needed for this important assignment.
Anytime I want to inspire myself for the Kingdom assignment, I usually remember this scripture; “So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found none.” Ezekiel 22:30.
God has been looking for just one prepared man who is ready to donate himself for the Kingdom expansion project on earth, but we have always disappointed Him. Be honest with yourself, when last did you talk to someone about Jesus?
God wants to use you right now! Whether you’re ordained or not is not important, what He is looking for is a willing vessel. I will show you how to donate yourself to God and the strategies you will use next Sunday. Stop looking for miracles and powerful men of God and donate yourself to God, and watch how heaven will decorate your life. Welcome to the week of wonders!
