IF YOU SEE THIS ARMED ROBBER, KINDLY REPORT TO THE POLICE! (PART 2)

Welcome to #InspireAfricaProject! I feel very sad whenever I see young people who are literally hanging around in life. They are living as if they have a spare life somewhere. God gave us life and equally gave us an assignment to fulfill so that we can make the world a better place. He did not create us to occupy space for eighty years on earth and die, He sent you and I to the earth to fulfill a particular assignment.

The earlier we realize that our stay on earth is temporal, the faster we will run with our assignments. When there is no sense of mission people hang around in life. Until we develop sense of urgency, life will remain a burden. The easiest way to abandon a project is to postpone it to another day. The easiest way to abandon your dream is to keep saying, one day I will start. Anything worth doing should be done now or you forget about it.

Procrastination is an adviser who encourages people to relax, rest and believe that one day things will suddenly take care of themselves. To sit in the house and keep wishing that things will suddenly change is like trying to pluck a star out of the sky. To abandon your responsibilities to God through prayer is like telling your wife or husband to sleep for you. You can equally shoot down procrastination with the following bullet.1(2)

2. Disconnect From Unserious People. Have you ever imagined why a young man who was so brilliant in the secondary school suddenly became a dullard in the university? Have you ever imagined why a beautiful young lady who developed a sense of mission early in life ended up as a prostitute when she gained admission into the university?

Why did that man who was excelling in business end up as an alchololic and chronic womanizer? What really happened to that young lady who won the staff of the year in their company for three consecutive years, end up as an object of mockery at the office? The answer to all these questions are simple, they became friends with loafers, idle chatters, and unserious minded fellows, and lost their positions at the top!

If you have friends who are always telling you to take things easy and enjoy life, you will soon loose your position at the top. I am of the opinion that everybody should not be your friend because friendship is by choice not by force. Anybody that wants to become your friend must be ready to match your pace and quest for excellence or get lost! To become a friend with somebody who built a house for procrastination is the shortest route to the land of stagnation and frustration.

Your association determines your destination in life. To befriend procrastination is to abandon your destination! To flow with the crowd is to be lost forever. To flow with wrong company is the easiest way to annihilate your uncommon accomplishments. Anything worth doing must be done right now or you will loose the passion to accomplish it tomorrow.

The easiest way to stop someone who has a bright future is to encourage him to keep postponing what he should have done today to another day! Olin Miller said; “If you want to make an easy job seem mighty hard, just keep putting off doing it. “Calvin Coolidge equally said that; “Nothing in the world can take the place of perseverance. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful people with talent. Genuis will not; unrewarded genius is also legendary. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Perseverance and determination alone are omnipotent.”12-Pillars-pillars-of-success

Dear friend, make the wise choice today and make your life count in your generation. God gave you life so that you can become a solution to your generation. Welcome to the world of unlimited possibilities!
